Catherine, what great timing! I’m just planning meals for the rest of the week and was wondering what to do with the cauliflower in the fridge - that Saffron Spaghetti has got my name all over it!

Many thanks for these. I get a veg box; once a fortnight a chap drives up from Kent with a large cardboard box full of vegetables and dumps it on my doorstep, and for many weeks now it has always included a large cauliflower. Another one is due to land tomorrow!

Love the sound of all of these, but will be making the saffron pasta recipe first, thank you

Love these! Honestly, I think anyone who can grow a cauliflower deserves a medal (they're tricky sods) so having all these ways to celebrate them is wonderful and just as it should be.

Yes, I don’t bother. I would rather grow things you can cut and come again like sprouting broccoli, asparagus kale etc…

I know that i want to make the delicious Cauliflower steak recipe first, but all my previous attempts to cut the perfect cauliflower steak has ended in a crumbly floret-shaped mess. I will try again with my sharpest knife!

Oh dear! Sorry to hear that! It is important that it is all still attached to the central stem.

These all look fantastic, thank you. For the red lentils, do you use whole, or split? Maybe it makes no difference!

Would love to hear more of your thermos recipes / ideas since i’m always stuck for what to make for lunches.

I use split - they are there to thicken and collapse down completely.

Are there any particular ingredients you would like to see in thermos meals?

Well to be honest, just anything quick and easy (working single parent here). I get a Riverford veg box every week so i’m always looking for ways to use all of their seasonal veggies. Maybe i need to make more dhals! :)

Are you feeding yourself or children or both? I can check out what Riverford are sending out every week.

Just myself for lunches mid week, thankfully. Sometimes i make a big batch at the weekend and then have that for lunches. By Friday i’m normally very bored of the same meal :)
