I love Laura. We bonded during media training (public speaking horror! She aced it.) years ago. Her writing always engages regardless of subject matter. There is a lot of dark humour. You should all look at her Carbs and Joy of Snacks books too.
Fiona has been a presence in my kitchen for many years, sending all sorts of goodies from foraged foods and seaweed for me and the kids to try; if I ever ask them to guess a secret ingredient, they always start with seaweed! I am learning a lot from Fiona's posts - wonderful on the practicalities of foraging, but she also talks entertainingly around her subject, with knowledge and authority.
Cannot get enough of Deb's warm and humorous tales of adjusting to life in France. And her recipes are superb.
Writes with wit and humour, wears his knowledge lightly - you don’t realise quite how much you are learning/absorbing. And the recipes are great.
